What is man without the beasts? If all the beasts were gone, man would die from a great loneliness of spirit. For whatever happens to the beasts, soon happens to man. All things are connected. - Chief Seattle
This is the place to continue your journey with me to help you realize how every aspect of nature is an integral part of your life.
The best part of the frequent rain is that the water levels were up from the norm and the flow of the river was steady.
As it already had stopped raining, I decided to use this spot to take a break, reconnect with nature and let the world pass me by.
It aways amazes me at how water in nature acts as a giant tranquilizer - - at least for me.
If you haven't done so, when you have an opportunity try and find a spot with water and take in the scene.
The crisp air, the earthy scent of fallen leaves and the way the sun filters through the foliage casts a warm golden glow all around us. It really is magical!
I am out with the camera exploring nature every chance I get. Where I think spring symbolizes new beginnings and always offers lots of opportunity it is the fall season that really brings out the magic. To me, fall represents a mature and elegant finale before the curtain falls on the season.
It is truly breathtaking!
Isn't it something when fall season comes around and the world seems to get painted in a brand new pallet. Walking through a wooded area during peak fall colors is like strolling through an artist's living masterpiece and there is no greater artist than "Mother Nature".
While on an early morning hike in the woods the sudden break in the clouds casting down on this colorful tree a ways down the trail gave me high hopes for a great series of autumn photos on this excursion.
Unfortunately, rapidly changing conditions limited what i was able to capture albeit some very challenging light for this morning's outing.
