The Monarch
Several weeks ago the milkweed began to bloom in the wetland area behind our home. Shortly afterwards, first one monarch butterfly showed up quickly checking out one bloom after another. Within a few days several more appeared and so the annual visit of the monarchs began soon to begin laying their eggs for the future.
