Deception
I called this capture "deception"because at a distance you think you may be looking at a small hummingbird or a large bee. These hummingbird moths look like hummingbirds, can fly at speed are insects which can fly at speeds exceeding 25 mph and can hover like a hummingbird when pollinating. Like butterflies, hey use their long proboscis to sip nectar. Their proboscis often reaches a length double that of their body which is in the range of 1 to 2 inches long or about half that of a hummingbird.
