More Monkeys
There is no specific time of the year for the Rhesus Macaque monkeys to mate.As long as they have food and shelter adequate to supply their needs, mating will take place. Females mature at about 3 years and the males typically take a year longer. After mating, it takes 5-6 months for the infants to arrive. The mothers take very good care of the young who are taught by them to become impotent members of the group which can be up to 200 members.
