In the Distance
Still looking around the area within 10 miles of home to keep my eyes on the status of the color change. I missed a few days due to quickly changing weather conditions. It was changing so fast we went from perfectly calm partly sunny conditions, to overcast skies with intermittent rain showers to breaks in the clouds with wind gusts. You think this sounds like a normal day this time of year which it would often be. Problem is all of this was happening during the course of an hour and I was into a 3 1/2 mile hike when it was happening.
