Stalking
I visited these flats on Huntington Beach on Pawleys Island several times a week to observe a great variety of waterfowl wading in the mud flats. Incoming tides seemed to attract more birds, but there never was a lack of action. Sometimes there also was some interesting interaction and competition among the breeds.
