Talons Ready
Almost immediately after leaving its perch, once its prey was in focus, the osprey got ready to dive on it and strike.
If you look closely at the talons, you can see why this raptor is considered the best fisherman in town. The 4th talon is reversible like our thumb which helps keep up its catch rate.
