Flagpole Sitting
I was very fortunate that this osprey landed atop the flagpole and rested there for almost 10 minutes before moving on. I was relaxing with a friend on the dock enjoying an espresso when it suddenly flew in. The osprey was kind enough to perch long enough for me to run inside and return with camera in hand so I could capture the moment.
