Family Affair
The Rhesus monkeys typically like open areas that are arid, but can survive in diverse habitats like the wooded areas along the Silver River in Ocala National Forest. The original monkeys in this area were brought in by a tour boat operator in 1938. Now there are reportedly about 400 in this area.
