Papilio Glaucus
Swallowtail butterflies can be found on every continent in the world. They are unique in that their lower wings are forked; hence the name swallowtail. This eastern tiger swallowtail is one of the most common and therefore well known butterflies in the U.S. It actually has been on 2 postage stamps in the U.S.
