Soft Landing
Hummingbirds have a very fast metabolism, far faster than yours and mine and about 100 times faster than that of an elephant. They eat a variety of insects like ants, gnats, mosquitoes, and wasps throughout the day just to survive. They can feed about every 15 minutes and scout between 1,000 and 2,000 flowers every day for food. Of course, with the right formula (4:1) water to sugar, they will keep coming back to your feeder throughout the day and evening.
