Gaping
Baltimore orioles will feast on fruit and berries like oranges, grapes, and raspberries, much to the chagrin of farmers. Sometimes they practice an unusual eating method called gaping: After they insert their beak into what they're eating, they create a tunnel out of their beak and use their tongues to lap up the juice, or in this case a beak full of grape jelly.
