Approaching the Colony
After a 15 day arduous, grueling, uncomfortable trip from Marseilles, the worst criminals from France. These prisoners did not enjoy the comforts of those that visit the island today aboard cruise ships, but traveled below deck in chains and cages. It only got worse once they arrived.
