Protecting Mom
The Canadian geese always seem to "test the water" with the swans. Inevitably there are multiple geese - - sometimes as many as 8 or 10 - - that like to approach the swans' nesting area. Always seems to end up the same way -- the female guards the nest and the male swan aggressively chases all the geese away from their home and their feeding grounds.
