Post Ritual Bathing
This is the last shot I captured through the entire mating ritual. Must admit that I was not sure if this was just like the final step in the normal daily bathing routine- - drying the wings. It seemed to be more vigorous than usual. Perhaps a victory statement after a successful mating or perhaps one more display of love before the normal daily routines begin. Either way, he was on display!
