Muddy
The ibis can be recognized by its long legs and its extremely long, down curved bill. It uses its bill quite effectively for probing in the mud for crustaceans and frogs. This white ibis was foraging for a meal at low tide in the marshland and judging by its beak, it was going pretty deep in the mud.
