Emerald Lake
Yoho National Park is another magnificent unspoiled area in Canada located in southeastern British Colombia. It is in an area along the western slope of the Continental Divide.
“Yoho” is a Cree Indian expression meaning “awe and wonder”. I can attest to the accuracy of that description. It is full of wondrous scenery including spectacular waterfalls, towering cliffs, snow capped mountain peaks and crystal clear lakes.
One of many lakes in Yoho National Park, Emerald Lake, provides a gentle, lakeshore surrounded by mountain and glacier views.
